Due to some internal feedback, there have been some slight amendments to the plans for opposing the ISS Europe Conference happening in Prague next week, please see them below.
- There is no longer a letter addressed to the Czech authorities, but only an open statement on our website on Monday 1 June, that will be shared with the press. You can find it here: https://hub.edri.org/index.php/s/p8WnHCAWcRH8LZZ
- Changing the main demand: the statement no longer calls on the Czech government to cancel the event, but rather calls on all EU and national relevant bodies to essentially boycott and not give legitimacy to the ISS (see statement above for the detail).
We are still collecting other signatures until Monday 1 June at 11AM.

We wanted to share with you a draft open letter and statement prepared by EDRi and some allies in light of the upcoming ISS World Europe Conference taking place next month in Prague, as part of our KISS Campaign.
ISS World Europe is a closed-door surveillance industry conference where governments, police agencies and private companies meet to market and trade spyware, phone-hacking tools, and mass surveillance technologies. For the past several years, the main sponsor has been the infamous NSO Group, alongside many other problematic companies that sponsor or participate in the event.
We are calling on the Czech government to cancel this event and stop the normalisation of spyware across Europe.
