Dear EDRis,

We wanted to share with you a draft open letter and statement prepared by EDRi and some allies in light of the upcoming ISS World Europe Conference taking place next month in Prague, as part of our KISS Campaign. 

ISS World Europe is a closed-door surveillance industry conference where governments, police agencies and private companies meet to market and trade spyware, phone-hacking tools, and mass surveillance technologies. For the past several years, the main sponsor has been the infamous NSO Group, alongside many other problematic companies that sponsor or participate in the event.

We are calling on the Czech government to cancel this event and stop the normalisation of spyware across Europe.
