Following the discussion during our General Assembly, we would like to begin our work on militarisation based on the scope that emerged from the session. This is open to comments, of course, and will serve as the starting point for this process.
Our aim is to *develop the network's high level position* and *understand the opportunities and spaces for EDRi to intervene* in advancing this position.
As a first step, we will establish a *working group*, and there will be an *initial meeting* to discuss the proposed scope and set the foundations for the group's work. In a second meeting we will work *toward identifying priorities and divide work*.
We are planning to hold this first meeting on either *Monday 27 July at 11AM*, or *Tuesday 28 July at 11 AM*, for 1h30. *If you are interested in joining the working group*, and/or attend the meeting, please reply to either of us (Andreea or Aljosa) and let us know:
